Diablo Exits KQXR For Slacker.com

JOURNAL Alternative KQXR (100.3 THE X)/BOISE, ID PD/morning show host MAT "DIABLO" BATES exits for the PD position at SLACKER.COM, under Director/Programming SCOTT RIGGS. DIABLO's last day at KQXR is this FRIDAY (6/29).

Meanwhile, on the heels of DIABLO's departure, KQXR announced "X'FEST '07" will be AUGUST 10 at THE IDAHO CENTER OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATER with GODSMACK, SOCIAL DISTORTION, EVANS BLUE, OPERATOR, and more TBA.

KQXR will be hosting "X-TUBE," a battle of the bands contest for the opening slot on "X-FEST." The winner will also get a professionally produced music video, courtesy of AREA02.com.
