WTQR Says Money For Charity Was Stolen From Station

CURTIS MEDIA Talk WZTK/GREENSBORO News. Dir. LEANNE PETTY recently (11/8) uncovered a story about crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Country WTQR and missing charity money.

Today's WINSTON-SALEM JOURNAL reports that CC has issued a statement saying that around $12,000 that was raised during the SEPTEMBER 25th BIG PAUL RIDE TO VICTORY was stolen from the station about two weeks after the event.  According to the statement, part of the money has been "anonymously returned" and the investigation is on going.  WTQR says they will still send a check for the full amount of money raised to the VICTORY JUNCTION GANG CAMP.
