Radio Disney Mall Concert Ends In Chaos

A free RADIO DISNEY-sponsored mall concert with boy band B5 ended in a chaotic scene with several injuries and the closing of the mall. The crowd, estimated at about 2,500, surged onto the stage as the second song started, with some fans trampled in the melee as the teen girls fought each other and ripped at band members' clothes.

BROOKLYN CENTER mall was shut down for over two hours and four people were taken to the hospital for minor injuries, while five others were treated at the scene. B5 is touring malls in the nationwide "Jingle Jam" tour, sponsored by RADIO DISNEY.
