ARBITRON's annual "ARBITRON CONSULTANT AND PROGRAMMER FLY-IN" will include iBIQUITY President/CEO BOB STRUBLE and Director/Broadcast Marketing DON KELLY to discuss HD RADIO during the two-day seminar DECEMBER 7-8 at ARBITRON'S RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER in COLUMBIA, MD.
The first day, iBIQUITY will update the radio industry on the first major improvement in terrestrial radio since the introduction of FM. "We’re reaching out to programmers and consultants to discuss the benefits of HD RADIO," said iBIQUITY President/CEO ROBERT STRUBLE. "HD RADIO helps stations offer new content and extend their brand on a new consumer platform. Helping programming and research consultants understand what HD RADIO has to offer will help the radio stations they serve make the most of their investment in this new technology."
The agenda for DECEMBER 8th includes ARBITRON execs discussing various initiatives for its ratings services, a PPM update, research enhancements for ethnic listening, cell phones, simulcast stations, condensed market measurement, and a JACOBS MEDIA Internet and Satellite radio study.
ARBITRON PPM President PIERRE BOUVARD said, ""PPM is opening new doors for broadcasters, marketers and advertisers. Combined with HD RADIO and the other innovative formats, the industry is moving forward at an astounding pace and Arbitron is glad to help the industry lead the charge into the future."
