CINGULAR WIRELESS is now offering a 40 channel commercial-free radio service through its mobile phones, using channels provided by MUSIC CHOICE and MOBITV. The MOBIRADIO service is priced at $6.99/month and works on three phones sold by CINGULAR, one NOKIA model and two from SONY ERICSSON. The company plans to expand the service to offer instant ringtone purchases and other content.
