BMG Merges RCA And Zomba's International And Sales Depts.

RCA MUSIC GROUP and ZOMBA LABEL GROUP have combined their International and Sales departments for the BMG LABEL GROUP. ZOMBALABEL GROUP SVP/International JOHN FLECKENSTEIN has been named SVP/International; he will oversee international affairs for all the RCA MUSIC GROUP and ZOMBA LABEL GROUP artists.
ZOMBA SVP/Sales BOB ANDERSON and RCA MUSIC GROUP SVP/Sales KEVIN TWITCHELL will lead the new BMG Label Group Sales department, combining field marketing, digital sales and support efforts for all RCA MUSIC GROUP and ZOMBA LABEL GROUP artists.
"JOHN's extensive experience in the international market, especially in dealing with both established and new artists makes this position ideally suited to him," stated BMG NORTH AMERICA Pres./CEO CHARLES GOLDSTUCK. "Having worked for both ARISTA and ZOMBA, he is intimately familiar with the entire BMG roster.
