Official: CBC, Sirius Launch 'Hockey Night In Canada' Radio Show

The CBC makes it official and announces the launch of a daily "HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA" radio show on SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO. 

The show, "HNIC RADIO," will air weekdays 4-6p ET on SIRIUS in the U.S. and CANADA, starting OCTOBER 1st. It will be hosted by CFMJ-A (AM640 TORONTO RADIO)/TORONTO "LEAFS LUNCH" and "BILL WATTERS SHOW" co-host JEFF MAREK, with KELLY HRUDEY, ELLIOTTE FRIEDMAN and SCOTT MORRISON as rotating co-hosts. HNIC TV analysts CRAIG SIMPSON and GREG MILLEN will be regular contributors, and HNIC's RON MACLEAN, JIM HUGHSON, BOB COLE and the controversial and legendary DON CHERRY will make appearances during the season.
