We're barely past LABOR DAY, but WYATT COX is already hard at work in pre-production for the eighth edition of his annual "CHRISTMAS ON THE RADIO" special. COX, the head of AMERICAN SUNRISE RADIO, says that the special will air on flagship KNAK-A/DELTA, UT, KELY-A/ELY, NV, and KWNA-A-F/WINNEMUCCA, NV, with owner FRED WEINBERG instrumental in getting the first all-day classic radio special on the air. Also clearing the show for this year already are WDOD-A/CHATTANOOGA, KHQN-A/PROVO, KEPL/ESTES PARK, CO, and the ACCENT RADIO NETWORK.
This year's 24 hour special, available for 100% barter, will focus on CHRISTMAS 1947, with selected shows from 1937 and 1957 in the mix. Check out the website at christmasontheradio.com or call WYATT at (702) 920-8686.
