LBI Q3 Boosted By Radio Revenue Rise

LBI MEDIA overall third quarter net revenues rose 7% to $25.8 million based on revenue growth from the company's LOS ANGELES and HOUSTON stations. Adjusted EDITDA rose 8% to $12.9 million, and net income fell 86% to $0.5 million; the company took a $5.2 million noncash impairment charge to one of the company's TV stations. Radio revenues jumped 13% to $13.6 million, and radio adjusted EBITDA rose 26% to $8.1 million.
