Condolences to family and friends of longtime Australian rugby radio voice FRANK HYDE, who died MONDAY in SYDNEY at 91. HYDE suffered a stroke in JULY and had been in a nursing home since then.
HYDE played for three clubs in the NEW SOUTH WALES RUGBY LEAGUE and was the captain of the NEW SOUTH WALES state team before turning to radio in 1953 at 2SM/SYDNEY, where he called games for 31 years.
