Game Show Legend Edwards Dies

Condolences to family and friends of game show king RALPH EDWARDS, who died WEDNESDAY of heart failure at 92. After early work in radio at KROW-A and KFRC-A/SAN FRANCISCO, EDWARDS' initial success was his creation of "TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES" on radio starting in 1940, eventually transitioning to TV and running for a total of 38 straight years with EDWARDS, and then BOB BARKER, as host. EDWARDS then added "THIS IS YOUR LIFE," also starting on radio and moving to TV, and later created and produced many other TV game, talk, and court shows, including "THE PEOPLE'S COURT."
