CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WBZY (1053 THE BUZZ)/ATLANTA has inked morning host WHIP to a two-year contract. WHIP was the first DJ on the air after WBZY re-launched back in MAY on its new frequency.

"This was an important signing for the future of 1053 THE BUZZ, said WBZY PD CHRIS WILLIAMS. "I have been a fan of WHIP for several years. His personality and creativity are an important part of the team we are building to create a fun, innovative, and unpredictable rock station for ATLANTA."
