The ASSOCIATION OF NATIONAL ADVERTISERS annual conference opening this THURSDAY in PHOENIX, will be covered on a dedicated radio station produced by the RAB in conjunction with the ANA, REPORTS mediaweek. KANA will broadcast Oct. 11-14 at 95.9 on the radio dial and on a channel on in-room televisions at the BILTMORE RESORT & SPA.
It’s the second pop-up radio station the RAB, looking for unique to promote the medium, has produced for a special event. But unlike the station RAB produced for Advertising Week in NEW YORK, KANA will not be streamed on the Internet.
"KANA’s purpose is that of any radio station in America -- to connect, inform and inspire our listening audience," said RAB Pres./CEO JEFF HALEY.
KANA is planning to air live broadcasts of general sessions, as well as one-on-one interviews with top marketers, daily updates and on-the-scene reports from special events. To promote the station, KANA is offering listeners a chance to win an HD Radio every day of the broadcast.
