Bobby Brown Suffers Heart Attack

BOBBY BROWN is recovering today from "a mild heart attack," the performer’s ATLANTA attorney PHAEDRA C. PARKS confirmed to the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION today.

"He was admitted [TUESDAY] night and he’s due to be released later TODAY," said PARKS. "At this point, we don’t know for sure the exact cause but it may be stress-related."

BROWN and his wife, WHITNEY HOUSTON, are in the process of finalizing their divorce as each try and jump-start their individual music careers. The couple separated last year.

PARKS said hospital tests did not reveal any blockages but that the pop singer was suffering from "severe inflammation of the heart. BOBBY’s in good spirits. His prognosis is pretty good. I’ve spoken with him several times today. I’m probably more upset about this than he is. He’s like a family member," added PARKS.
