KFWB's Harvey Named SoCal 'Sportscaster Of The Month'

CBS News KFWB-A/LOS ANGELES "DODGER TALK" post-game show host BOB HARVEY has been named SEPTEMBER 2007's "Sportscaster of the Month" by the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SPORTS BROADCASTERS. 

HARVEY's honor comes after a widely publicized dust-up with DODGER management that led LOS ANGELES TIMES columnist BILL PLASCHKE to call his show "crazy, uncut, its occasionally uncouth and always uncalculated... it's the most endearing link between the DODGERS and their fans, the one place where the guy in the pavilion can talk and the suit upstairs can hear them ... it's a wonderful extra inning ... because it is immediately after a game, it is far different than any other sports talk show."

AUGUST's winner was ANGELS voice RORY MARKAS, honored for successfully making a last-minute switch to the team's TV broadcasts.
