WESTWOOD ONE and METRO NETWORKS are being sued by POMPANO HELICOPTERS for $362 million, claiming that WW1/METRO conspired to take away POMPANO's deals to provide choppers for radio and TV stations, using false and damaging information that deemed POMPANO unsafe.
POMPANO, which also alleged that WW1/METRO blocked a proposed merger that would have made POMPANO a stronger competitor, filed two separate suits against WW1 and METRO in BROWARD COUNTY, FL.
