Ramones Manager Murdered

The former manager of the punk rock legends THE RAMONES, LINDA STEIN, was found dead inside her MANHATTAN apartment WEDNESDAY night. The ASSOCIATED PRESS reports that she suffered blows to the head and the neck, although police reports indicate no signs of forced entry.

STEIN, the onetime real estate "broker to the stars," managed the RAMONES during the 1970s with DANNY FIELDS. She was the ex-wife of SEYMOUR STEIN, former President of SIRE RECORDS, who signed the band.
