Asbestos Scare Knocks LPFM Off Air

Low power noncommercial Variety KRFP-LP (RADIO FREE MOSCOW)/MOSCOW, ID is off the air after it and other tenants of the ANDERSON BUILDING had to evacuate due to asbestos contamination. A contractor installing skylights at the building accidentally scraped asbestos from an interior ceiling, sending tenants out of the building. The station says it hopes to be up and running again between WEDNESDAY (11/14) and MONDAY (11/19) and has set up temporary office space in another building for now.
