VIACOM and CBS have named new board mambers in preparation for the companies' split coming by the end of the year, with BANK OF AMERICA Chairman Emeritus CHARLES GIFFORD, NAACP CEO BRUCE GORDON, and CENTER FOR ADOPTION POLICY Exec. Dir. JUDITH SPRIESER joining the board of the new CBS CORP. (which includes INFINITY).
Joining the board of the "new" VIACOM are former VIACOM Vice Chairman and current DND CAPITAL PARTNERS CEO THOMAS DOOLEY, AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY Pres. ELLEN FUTTER, and NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS owner BOB KRAFT.
Current VIACOM Chairman SUMNER REDSTONE will serve as Chairman of both post-split companies, with his daughter SHARI REDSTONE serving as nonexecutive Vice Chairwoman of the companies.
