Gomez Hired As Lobbyist

UNIVISION COMMUNICATIONS INC. has appointed former R.J. REYNOLDS TOBACCO CO. Dir. of Federal Government Relations BERT GOMEZ as VP, Government Relations, effective immediately. GOMEZ will serve as in-house lobbyist for the broadcaster and will report to EVP, Chief Strategy Officer CESAR CONDE.

"BERT's extensive government relations experience, corporate affairs background, and exceptional work on behalf of the Hispanic community make him the ideal person to lead UNIVISION's government relations efforts," said CONDE.

GOMEZ added, "I am grateful for this opportunity to represent UNIVISION at this important and exciting time.
