WILKS BROADCASTING Country KFKF/KANSAS CITY PM driver DAN HOLIDAY will begin his annual TOYS FOR TOTS Toy-a-thon starting TOMORROW morning (12/12). HOLIDAY will climb onto the roof of a local WAL-MART and remain there until he reaches his goal of collecting 9400 toys for this year's MARINE CORPS TOYS FOR TOTS campaign.
To help HOLIDAY on his mission, MIDAS RECORDS recording artists EMERSON DRIVE will join him on the roof beginning THURSDAY (12/13).
This is HOLIDAY's 19th year of hosting the Toy-a-thon. The tradition began in 1989 when Holiday first lived on the roof of a department store near WICHITA. He brought the annual event with him to KFKF in 2004. In nearly two decades, HOLIDAY has helped collect over 140,000 toys for needy children. Keep track of his progress at kfkf.com.
