ALL ACCESS has learned that NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO "THE BRYANT PARK PROJECT" morning show host LUKE BURBANK is exiting the show to join BONNEVILLE Talk KIRO-A/SEATTLE as the station's new 7-10p PT weeknight host. BURBANK grew up in SEATTLE and started his career at the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON's noncommercial NPR affiliate KUOW.
"LUKE is a pioneer in trying to change the face of talk radio and he selected 710 KIRO as the station, and SEATTLE as the city, to do it,” said KIRO PD ROD ARQUETTE. "This show will look at the world through LUKE's unique perspective. I think LUKE is part of the new generation of talk show hosts. He’s mischievous, curious and always has a different look at the issues from a much younger perspective."
