The NAB has launched a pro-terrestrial radio campaign. The target is satellite radio with the campaign aimed at promoting the benefits of terrestrial radio being "free" versus a "paid" service. Check out the NAB Baseball spot, the NAB Leading Man spot, and the NAB Traffic spot. The tag line is "Radio, you shouldn't have to pay for it."

They replace the previously released "Radio: You Hear It Here First" advertisements. "The new spots remind listeners of the 24-7 news coverage, compelling personalities, weather and traffic bulletins, local regional and national talk, local sports, and other programming, all of which is available for free on local radio," said NAB RADIO BOARD Chairman and ENTERCOM President/CEO DAVID FIELD. "This next phase of the campaign will build on our momentum from the artist spots and further convey radio’s unique value proposition to consumers."
