WPGC Teams With Car Dealer And Redskins' Arrington For Unusual Car Giveaway

INFINITY Top 40/Rhythmic WPGC/WASHINGTON D.C. has teamed with WASHINGTON REDSKINS linebacker LAVAR ARRINGTON and EASTERNS HYUNDAI for a promotion that has WPGC and EASTERNS giving listeners a car per week. The premise is that owning a car is not in everyone's budget so WPGC, EASTERNS and ARRINGTON have teamed to give the cars to deserving listeners that qualify by entering through a letter writing campaign. Every FRIDAY during the promotion, WPGC's longtime morning star DONNIE SIMPSON selects a winner and reads their letter on the air. 

The cars are delivered to the winners the following TUESDAY at EASTERNS HYUNDAI with LAVAR ARRINGTON present. One of the two winners, so far, is a Hurricane Katrina victim who has relocated to the D.C. area.
