AC WWLI (LITE ROCK 105)/PROVIDENCE morning man GARY DEGRAIDE is exiting the station effective DECEMBER 23. 

DEGRAIDE has been on the air at WWLI for 22 years and tells the PROVIDENCE JOURNAL that he's tired of getting up at 3a every day and, as a Christian, wants "to do more purposeful work within my faith. I just know I'm supposed to go forward, I know that it's time." DEGRAIDE, who joined WWLI in 1983 after working at WARV-A/WARWICK, WICE-A/PROVIDENCE, WRKO-A/BOSTON, WDRC/HARTFORD, and WPRO-A/PROVIDENCE, says he will likely work in substance-abuse counseling and do voiceover work for Christian stations.
