COX Urban WEDR (99 JAMZ)/MIAMI OM TONY FIELDS announces that veteran air-personality and music director JAMES THOMAS is stepping down. VP/GM JERRY RUSHIN says of THOMAS, "JAMES has unselfishly given of his time, energy and love, receiving countless honors from government, industry, churches, fraternities, sororities and service organizations." THOMAS' final day will be THURSDAY 12/15. No immediate replacement has been named at this time.
