NEW YORK Talk radio icon BOB GRANT is exiting BUCKLEY Talk WOR-A/NEW YORK. 

The NEW YORK POST's JOHN MAINELLI reports that GRANT will take three weeks off after WEDNESDAY's show, then will come back for his last seven shows starting JANUARY 5. Chef and restauranteur ROCCO DISPIRITO will move from late mornings to afternoons to replace GRANT. 

GRANT came to NEW YORK radio in 1970 at WMCA-A, later moving to WABC-A and, after a 1996 brouhaha over a comment about the death f Commerce Secretary RON BROWN, moved to WOR.
