KLIF/Dallas Offers Singing Newscasts

Listeners to SUSQUEHANNA Talk KLIF-A/DALLAS TODAY are getting an unusual service: singing news. KLIF news anchor RON DEROXTRA is singing his morning report, with repeats at Noon and 6p. Listeners will be able to vote on the station's website whether they want to hear the singing newscasts as a regular feature of the station.

Meanwhile, KLIF morning man DARRELL ANKARLO raised $168,000. in one day for the "We've Got Your Back" project supporting the families of military personnel serving overseas. The amount beat last year's total of $125,000.; ANKARLO's son ADAM is in the MARINE CORPS and recently served in FALLUJAH.
