What's up at INFINITY Alternative WAQZ (NEW ROCK 97.3)/CINCINNATI? The station has gone jockless and says it's "on shuffle for the holidays," and it's asking listeners to take a survey online to tell the station what other radio stations they listen to, with choices including music stations in several formats and Talk WLW-A. 

But the CINCINNATI POST's JOHN KIESEWETTER reports on his blog that the changes will involve the station's new branding ("97.3- EVERYTHING ALTERNATIVE"), already visible on the station's web site, and tweaking of the music to add more classic alternative. The station will replace the departed HOWARD STERN show with the CHICAGO-based ROVER on JANUARY 3, when the station's other jocks will return.
