Former ABC Exec Wally Schwartz Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former ABC RADIO NETWORKS President WALLY SCHWARTZ, who died on DECEMBER 14 in BOYNTON BEACH, FL, according to the PALM BEACH POST. 

SCHWARTZ started his career at WWJ-A/DETROIT and became GM at WABC-A/NEW YORK before taing the reins at the network, where he was in charge when the network made its highly successful split into four separate progrmming streams. He later became President of ABC television and BLAIR TELEVISION before retiring in 1986.
