Alternative WMAD Flips To Country

96-3 Star Country

At 12 midnight today (12/23), Clear Channel Alternative WMAD (MAD RADIO 96-3)/MADISON changed formats to Country as "96-3 STAR COUNTRY ". The transition went from PROPELLERHEADS "History Repeating" into JEFF BUCKLEY's "Last Goodbye" into JIMI HENDRIX "Star Spangeled Banner" then to an image promo and GRETCHEN WILSON "All Jacked Up". The new site is live at 963starcountry.com.

Sister Top 40 WZEE (Z-104) PD JON REILLY is programming the new format.  He tells ALL ACCESS that he will have a new live and local airstaff in place by mid-JANUARY when the station's 10,000 songs-in-a-row, commercial free debut is completed. Send your package to him at jonreilly@clearchannel.com.
