CHATTANOOGA STATE TECHNICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE is selling noncommercial Alternative-Variety WAWL-F/RED BANK, TN and its booster to FAMILY LIFE BROADCASTING, INC. for $1,500,000. The sale was indicated by the school in MARCH without identifying the buyer; WAWL's college programming will move to online-only.
In another deal filed with the FCC, BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is selling WROG/CUMBERLAND, MD to public broadcaster WITF, INC. for $875,000. The station, formerly Country, went silent on JULY 31st and holds a construction permit to move from 102.9 at CUMBERLAND to 93.3 FM at CHAMBERSBURG, PA.
And BIBLE BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. is selling FM translator W243AK/BRADENTON, FL to POLNET COMMUNICATIONS, LTD. for $42,500. POLNET owns Talk WTMY-A/SARASOTA and Urban AC WRXB-A/ST. PETERSBURG, both of which reach BRADENTON.
