GARY MORA, one of the legendary voices of heritage Top 40 KYA-A/SAN FRANCISCO, has launched an Internet-only version of the station as www.1260KYA.com. The station features classic KYA jingles from the late 1950s through the 1970s, along with Top 40 hits from that era, direct from the KYA music surveys originally issued by the station.
1260KYA.com will stream flashbacks to the original station -- short clips from archival KYA airchecks introduced by MORA -- featuring popular KYA personalities like TOM "BIG DADDY" DONAHUE, PETER TRIPP, JOHNNY HOLLIDAY, EMPEROR GENE NELSON, BWANA JOHNNY, CHRIS EDWARDS, CASEY KASEM and RUSS "THE MOOSE" SYRACUSE.
MORA was a popular DJ on 1260 KYA and its successor, 93.3 KYA-FM, from the 1970s through the 1990s, and hosted the KYA Oldies Road Show live events for many years.
