ALL ACCESS sends our sincere good thoughts and condolences to industry veteran TERI BROWN, currently the President of TBA NETWORK. TERI, former manager of artists such as JOHN SCHNEIDER, BILLY DEAN and many more, has lost her dad, industry great, WARREN BROWN.
Mr. BROWN passed away on SEPT. 15th, with his wife RUTH by his side. He was 92. BROWN majored in music at the NEW YORK MILITARY ACADEMY and then became a trombonist with his brother LES’ famous band- LES BROWN and the BAND of RENOWN. BROWN later became a ‘song plugger,’ and during his tenure found, “Strangers in the Night,” for FRANK SINATRA and helped market the music for the album known as the first rock opera, “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
BROWN eventually became Vice President of MCA MUSIC, where he stayed until his retirement in 1981. Contributions to the ALZHEIMER’s ASSOCIATION would be appreciated by the family. For info contact TERI at tbanetwork@att.net.
