Marty Stuart Celebrates 50th Birthday At The Opry

Country legend MARTY STUART will celebrate his 50th birthday on GAC-TV's OPRY LIVE next SATURDAY (9/27) at 9p (ET). CAPITOL/NASHVILLE star KEITH URBAN, STUART's wife CONNIE SMITH, the up-and-coming string band CAROLINA CHOCOLATE DROPS and MARTY's FABULOUS SUPERLATIVES will join him onstage for a performance.

In addition, MARTY will also be re-vamping Dressing Room No. 14, the former room of the late PORTER WAGONER. STUART handpicked the furniture, photographs and rhinestone tapestries that will adorn the room in honor of PORTER.
