WARNER BROS. RECORDS has made several top-echelon executive promotions. WBR COO DIARMUID QUINN tacks on the duties of President of REPRISE RECORDS, EVP/Promotion TOM "GROVER" BIERY adds GM duties for the label, and SVP/A&R CRAIG AARONSON has been promoted to President of SIRE RECORDS.
As President of REPRISE, QUINN will be responsible for developing and guiding REPRISE Records’ roster of artists, and continue to guide the company’s overall operations, as well as support WHALLEY in overarching matters. Since joining WBR in 2001, Quinn has been involved in the global development and marketing of the company’s roster; his first signing to REPRISE is British band OASIS.
As GM for WBR, BIERY will oversee the strategy behind all releases, working with the roster of artists, managers, and WBR staff to spearhead the direction of the label. BIERY has been with the WBR labels for more than 18 years.
As SIRE President, AARONSON will work closely with label Founder SEYMOUR STEIN to continue the label’s tradition of signing cutting-edge artists to the imprint. AARONSON has been involved in the signing and A&R development of MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, THE USED and AVENGED SEVENFOLD, among others.
