MCVAY NEW MEDIA, the interactive consulting arm of MCVAY MEDIA, has entered into a partnership with WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORPORATION this week. WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORPORATION, which owns 24 radio stations and a statewide news network, is working with MCVAY NEW MEDIA to develop their interactive operation, including consulting their website and streaming initiatives. The consultancy’s services will also include executive-level training for General Managers and account executives.
"Our stations are in the business of serving local advertisers. We came to MCVAY NEW MEDIA because they have proven strategies for growing local direct business with interactive media, and they offer first-rate training for each of our departments," said WVRC Pres. DALE MILLER.
"This year, local media will earn $10.5 billion in local interactive advertising revenue, up from $8 billion in 2007," said MCVAY NEW MEDIA Pres. DANIEL ANSTANDIG. "Many of our local radio clients have been able to bolster their position in the market to grow interactive revenue and compensate for losses in traditional spot sales."
