GCAP MEDIA and HIT ENTERTAINMENT sell U.K. digital Children's radio station FUN RADIO to FOLDER MEDIA for an undisclosed amount. GCAP will continue to manage the station through its CREATION division, and the station will continue to promote HIT's properties, including its popular BOB THE BUILDER character.
The sale clears out the last of GCAP's digital stations before the company is taken over by GLOBAL RADIO NOVEMBER 1st. GCAP previously sold PLANET ROCK and closed THEJAZZ and CORE. FOLDER is the parent company of digital multiplex owner MUXCO.
