Rock 105 Is Cooking With Grease

CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WWDC (DC101)/WASHINGTON weekender "THE GREASEMAN" will return to JACKSONVILLE radio this WEDNESDAY (10/1) on COX Classic Rock WFYV (ROCK 105), hosting a live daily show from 3-7p, MONDAY through FRIDAY replacing GREGG STEPP.   

DOUG "THE GREASEMAN" TRACHT rose to legendary fame, both locally and nationally, from 1975-1982 when he was the morning host on WAPE-A (now COX WOKV-A). He also worked at stations in ATLANTA and LOS ANGELES.

"GREASE is a natural fit into the line-up at ROCK 105", said GM DAVID ISREAL. "There is no other personality in the history of JACKSONVILLE radio that has left such an indelible mark on the sense of humor of the city."

"After leaving JACKSONVILLE, I have always wanted come back to that wonderful city," THE GREASEMAN said. "When COX RADIO/JACKSONVILLE called with a sudden opening on ROCK 105, I couldn’t refuse to come back to the people and city that I love. There was no hesitation. I have returned home."
