FLORIDA attorney JACK THOMPSON, whose battles with HOWARD STERN, SCOTT FERRALL, NEIL ROGERS, and BEASLEY BROADCASTING, as well as his attacks on video game companies for alleged indecency, drew significant local and national media attention, has been disbarred by the FLORIDA Supreme Court effective OCTOBER 25th. 

THOMPSON has filed for an emergency stay of the order in federal court and is claiming that the disbarment is retaliation for a book he wrote criticizing the court; the ruling cites a long series of THOMPSON's alleged public misconduct and hits THOMPSON with a $43,675.35 restitution order.

In a press release, THOMPSON says that he has filed a civil rights suit against the FLORIDA SUPREME COURT and its seven justices as well as the FLORIDA bar.
