McCready To Serve 60 Days

PEOPLE.COM is reporting that Country singer MINDY McCREADY will "voluntarily surrender to authorities" on TUESDAY (9/30) to serve 60 days in jail for a probation violation. McCREADY was arrested in JUNE for prescription drug fraud and for violating her probation (NET NEWS 6/26).

In a statement this morning (9/29), she said: "I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain. I would like to thank my fans for their unwavering support as I continue to work on my recovery and to regain custody of my precious son, ZANDER."
