WFPL/Louisville's Heidi Caravan Dies At 40

Condolences to family and friends of LOUISVILLE PUBLIC RADIO noncommercial WFPL/LOUISVILLE news producer/editor and former Director of News and Programming HEIDI CARAVAN, who died SATURDAY in LOUISVILLE of breast cancer at 40, according to the LOUISVILLE COURIER-JOURNAL.

CARAVAN, a NEWFOUNDLAND native, joined WFPL in 2000 after three years at KENTUCKY NEWS NETWORK; she became Dir./News and Programming in 2005 and stepped down after her illness was diagnosed.
