BONNEVILLE Hot AC WKRQ (Q-102)/CINCINNATI's JEFF & JENN MORNING SHOW will welcome BOBBY GENESE and his "WALK FOR AUTISM" when he passes through town sometime during the second week of OCTOBER.
GENESE is currently on a cross-country trek, walking from SAN FRANCISCO to WASHINGTON D.C. to honor the memory of his friend ELIAS TEMBENIS who he recently lost to autism, and to raise awareness of the HELPING HAND PROJECT and to benefit those affected with the disease.
To date, GENESE (and his partner ROBERT WILLIAMS who passed through a week ahead of him) have raised $28,000 for the cause. All proceeds raised by their sponsors benefit the HELPING HAND PROJECT, a national program administered by the NATIONAL AUTISM ASSOCIATION.
