BNA/NASHVILLE star KENNY CHESNEY took the weekend off to catch the VANDERBILT COMMODORES take on the AUBURN TIGERS in NASHVILLE on SATURDAY (10/4).
ESPN's "College GameDay" crew was there to broadcast the game on TV, and KENNY got to join BRENT MUSBERGER and KIRK HERBSTREIT in "the box" for a little play-by-play commentary during the 3rd quarter.
While HERBSTREIT and "GameDay" co-host LEE CORSO picked AUBURN to win, CHESNEY stood by his hometown team and picked VANDY, who won the game 14-13.
KENNY has the #1 single on the Country chart right now with "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven," and his new album "Lucky Old Sun" hits stores next TUESDAY (10/14).
You can also catch him perform on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO on OCTOBER 15th at 11:35p (ET) on NBC-TV. For more info check out www.kennychesney.com.
