Country singer and GRAND OLE OPRY member STONEWALL JACKSON has settled his age discrimination suit with the OPRY. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but the 75-year-old JACKSON and his management said they were happy with the outcome.
JACKSON filed the suit last year claiming that since GM PETE FISHER took over in 1998 that his appearances on the show have declined. He was asking for $10 million in compensatory damages and $10 million in punitive damage.
