WKTU Extends Hollywood Hamilton, Offers Syndication Base

CLEAR CHANNEL Rhythmic AC WKTU/NEW YORK is extending the contract of afternoon host SEAN ‘HOLLYWOOD’ HAMILTON has inked a new multi-year contract. On top of hosting the "HOLLYWOOD & GOUMBA JOHNNY Show, in JANUARY 2009, KTU will become the flagship station for a HAMILTON-hosted "The Remix Top 40 Countdown," which will be syndicated by UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS.
"I've been a big fan of HOLLYWOOD’s since I first heard him on Z100 back in the '80s," WKTU PD ROB MILLER stated: "He develops an incredible bond with our listeners because he is real and talks about everyday things that are relatable. HOLLYWOOD and GOUMBA JOHNNY keep New Yorkers smiling on their way home; their chemistry, coupled with KTU’s music, have led us to our best numbers ever in afternoon drive."
