A lawyer and self-styled "anti-feminist" who recently lost a bid to get a court to declare "ladies' nights" at bars as unlawful discrimination is suing OPIE AND ANTHONY sidekick and standup comic JIM NORTON for defamation after the lawyer appeared on the XM SATELLITE RADIO edition of the show.
The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS reports that ROY HOLLANDER, who also sued COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY for having a "Women's Studies" program, claims that NORTON defamed him as a "f---ing whore," a "lawyer who nobody wants to f--k" and a "phony."
HOLLANDER's suit also includes an attack on NORTON for the comic's penchant for getting celebrity autographs and photographs and an attack on NORTON's appearance (as a "real-life GOLLUM"). NORTON did not respond to the DAILY NEWS' request for comment.
