Fire Sends U.K.'s TalkSport To Rival's Studio

UTV U.K. national Sports station TALKSPORT was forced off the air for about 90 minutes FRIDAY morning due to a fire at its studio in LONDON. Programming was down from 7:30-9a while hosts relocated to the studios of crosstown GLOBAL RADIO Talk LBC, with which TALKSPORT has a reciprocal agreement to use studios in an emergency. 

The GUARDIAN quotes a spokesman for TALKSPORT as describing the fire as a "small incident on the production floor." TALKSPORT is expected to return to its own facility later today.
