On THURSDAY (10/16), BONNEVILLE Hot AC WKRQ (Q-102)/CINCINNATI raised over $30,000 fourth annual "BOSOM BALL" at the MADISON THEATER in COVINGTON. To date, the event has raised over $71,000.
This year's featured artists include THRIVING IVORY, MARIE' DIGBY, MATT NATHANSON, METRO STATION and local talent KRISTEN KEY, and their silent auction included autographed items from MARIAH CAREY, DURAN DURAN, THE JONAS BROTHERS, COLBIE CAILLAT, DAVID COOK, DAVID ARCHULETA, and an autographed guitar from JOHN MAYER that went for $1,200.
All proceeds will benefit the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY and the PINK RIBBON SOCIETY in the fight against breast cancer. So far, THE BOSOM BALL has raised over $41,000 for breast cancer charities.
Q-102 PD PATTY MARSHALL commented, "This is our 4th BOSOM BALL and we’re very proud that 100% of ticket sales will go directly to breast cancer charities. Even the artists are donating their time."
