Eric Wellman Rises To PD At Q104.3

CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Rock WAXQ (Q104.3)/NEW YORK has promoted ERIC WELLMAN to PD at the station. The announcement was made by CCNY SVP/Programming TOM POLEMAN. WELLMAN takes over PD duties from POLEMAN, who was recently named SVP/Programming for BOSTON, MIAMI, PHILADELPHIA and NEW YORK.

Said POLEMAN, "ERIC has long been the programming secret weapon behind the scenes at Q104.3. I am thrilled that he has accepted the PD stripes, something that he has truly earned."

WELLMAN has been APD/MD at the station since SPRING 2000. Prior to Q, he spent seven years at COX Rock WBAB/LONG ISLAND, where he started out as APD in 1993 and was named PD in FALL 1999.
